Becoming a member:
All applicants require a WHS Handicap Index to join Parkstone and a proposer and a seconder whom they have played golf with recently and on a regular basis.
Two further letters of support from other members and a letter of introduction from your current Club are also required.
Please be aware that we do not operate a waiting list for prospective applicants, only when an applicant has successfully completed the joining process will they be placed on a waiting list pending an invitation to join.
The following categories of membership are currenty open/closed to new applicants. Unless otherwise stated the next review for membership intake will be in January/February 2026:

Should Full Playing male membership re-open to new applicants in 2026 we are advising successful applicants to expect a 3-5 year wait for an invitation to join.
Female Applications:
In a 'positive action' designed to maintain the current number of female golfing members in proportion to the male playing membership, the Club is open to applications for Ladies in the following categories of membership.

*Junior Membership:
Please be aware that we do not operate a waiting list for prospective Junior applicants.
*It is preferred that Junior applicants have a WHS handicap. Only when an applicants is able to fulfill this criteria can they apply for membership.
If an applicant does not currently have a WHS handicap the option to have a playing assessment with one of the Professionals at Parkstone is available for which there is a fee. This wil be necessary prior to applying subject to applications being open. (We are currently closed to new applicants).
Juniors under the age of 12 will require a parent or guardian who is a member of the club to chaperone the junior whilst on the course.
As our commitment to the development of junior golf, special group coaching sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings throughout the year. These sessions are an hour long and are a great way to be introduced to the game! As well as these mornings James, Tom & Alice all offer individual or group coaching. Notes:
The full annual subscription is comprised of £2,275, including DCGU & EG affiliation fees, plus a future development levy of £120.
The subscriptions in other categories also include a pro-rata proportion of the redevelopment levy.
*Relates to UK residents who live a minimum of 75 miles from Parkstone , wish to become members and are currently a member at another Golf Club. Members of this category are restricted to 30 rounds per annum.
