James Baldwin

James turned Professional in 1999 at Canford Magna Golf Club.  As an amateur, he represented Dorset at all levels culminating in him becoming Dorset County Champion in 1997.

He has been at Parkstone since 2000 during which time he has coached all levels of players from the complete beginner to elite players. His coaching knowledge coupled with his friendly persona has made him very popular and highly regarded at Parkstone and in the local area.

James uses the latest Hudl video sharing app and the Flightscope Launch Monitor technology , during his lessons, allowing his pupils to understand their golf swing and how it works, and help document their improvements.

He is constantly looking to improve and develop his skills not only as a coach but also as a club fitter by using the modern technologies that are available. James is an accomplished Golf Club Custom Fitter who has helped many golfers improve their game through the correct fitting of golf equipment.

James has been a Callaway and Odyssey brand ambassador for the last 8 years.

He still enjoys playing and competes regularly in  local Professional tournaments.

Tom Green

Tom is a qualified PGA Professional and has been a member of the Parkstone team for 7 years. Having played at the club for 4 years Tom realised his ambition and is one of the new breed of young professionals that have learnt to teach using some of the latest technologies available.

Using the TrackMan 4 launch monitor, Tom's students experience unmatched data quality on all aspects of the swing. The dual radar technology captures every detail of the club and ball at impact, providing the most in-depth review of the golf swing to date and is used by the world's top players.  Tom uses it to educate his players as well as increasing performance using Test Centre and Combine features.

Tom has also completed his Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1, Golf Level 2 and Junior Level 2 certifications and is a leader of this field in the local area.

Tom has helped to develop a very strong Junior Academy at Parkstone and continues to develop his growing reputation as a first-class coach. Tom is passionate about custom fitting and enjoys combining his knowledge of golf equipment with the computerised fitting profile of the golf manufactures and his expertise of the golf swing to ensure the correct fitting of golf equipment to enhance the individual's game.

Tom offers coaching for all levels in either individual sessions or as part of a group environment

Alice Davis

Alice fell in love with golf from an early age, enjoying the game, the etiquette and the joy of a friendly golf club environment. Alice's passion has always been about teaching golf and seeing new and experienced golfers embrace the game and the golf environment wrapped around it.

Alice played golf at County level, representing the Junior and County Ladies teams. She also competed at Regional and National level until deciding to qualify as a PGA Professional and dedicate herself to coaching. Alice brings a professional, approachable, supportive and friendly style to golfers of all levels, and specialises in understanding the needs of the individual so they both learn and enjoy their time with her.

For entry-level golfers, Alice can introduce students to the basics sufficient to start enjoying the game, and for the mid and expert levels, she offers a more technical approach focused on tweaking core technique and supported by the latest Trackman 4 Dual Radar technology to gather key data about a swing. Every pupil is different, and Alice's adaptable style supports everyone. Regardless of your level, Alice uses the Hudl Technique Teaching App to easily show and share videos of students and their swing for their own reference after lessons.

Alice is a ‘AA' Grade PGA Professional, having further supplemented her skill-set qualifying as a Frankly Certified Putting Instructor and Certified Golf Psychology Coach for those pupils who need attention on those aspects of their game. She is also certified as a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Coach to offer guidance on the physical/muscular aspects of a golf swing. Alice is one of twelve ladies in Europe selected to sit on the TaylorMade Ladies Advisory Board, helping them shape their brand and equipment for ladies golf. She contributes articles to magazines such as National Club Golfer and Ladies Golf Lifestyle.

At Parkstone, Alice is a permanent fixture as part of the Junior Academy, having been a key part of its growth, and was instrumental in setting up a specific Sunday Girls Academy so she can spread her own passion for the game to the next generation. Alice also setup the hugely-successful Parkstone Pink Ladies Golf Academy as a way for female golfers to be introduced to the game in a friendly, un-intimidating and social environment, and as a stepping-stone to full Parkstone membership.

Alice offers individual and group lessons at Parkstone for all levels and can create bespoke coaching packages to fit your individual needs. She is also available for custom fitting sessions to help you chose the right equipment
